The websites I have chosen were about Garmin, which is a GPS (Global Positioning System) and about computer networking which is wireless networking. I have heard of a GPS before. I have also used one before. They are great for navigating. A wireless networking is also very useful.
Most people misunderstand what a GPS really is. It is very technical and uses three different signals for imformation. The three signals are, a pseudorandom code, ephemeris data, and almanac data. The pseudorandom is the I.D code, The ephemeris data signals and is transmitted by the satillites, and the almanac tells the GPS receiver where each GPS satellite should be at any time during the day.
In experience, using a GPS is very asurable. It is acurate 90% of the time. It tells you the time, arrival time, the miles, and it even tells you the speed limit on the road; depending how high tech your GPS is. I think everyone should have one.
Wireless networking is usefull in very many ways. This networking could be used in a home or at a business. What great about it is, it's very small and portable. Also, a lot of people can use it. It says about 255 clients could use one wireless networking at one time. Its something indeed used for computers and internet access. This could be why its also called a base station.

If you are interested in finding out how to make a web site on a MacBook, the websites I listed could help. But, first you will have to know about computer literacy. Computer literacy is the basic things you need to know about the computer. To learn about this, more the things you could do are offered in most educational programs at schools and colleges. They are also avaliable online (if you know a little something already about computers).
When you know more about the general knowlage of computer literacy, you could then move on to making a web site. Recently, I bought a MacBook Pro so I used the Apple website to help me. It helped design the page that has always been wanted. The programs to use are Mac or iWeb. The first step is to click the link Apple design. This gives you the basic colors, fonts, and sizes you need. You could also use a template where you write and a bout me and interests that you perfer.
After you add the basics to your page by using your knowlage to computer literacy, then you are ready to ass photos. Photos could be a little more confusing. The picture has to be saved to the computer before you can upload it. The program used for a MacBook is, using the Media Browser. Find what you want then just add it in seconds by dragging the photo into your webpage.
All in all, computer literacy is needed in life today. Computers are getting more popular everyday. The technology keeps accelerating and becoming used to do the simplest things. Web pages for example are used for businesses and every day advertising. I hope these sites could help.
